1) HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC (NOC 7312):  Year-round with off season repairs & maintenance.  Located three hours from Dawson City with room & board provided.  Have over four years of work experience & industry courses in heavy equipment repair to service, diagnose & repair D 475 Komatsu Dozer, 470 Hitachi excavators), etc.

3) ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, but must also work outside those regular hours for sampling events on site, with field work of 10-12 hour days, Knowledge of Yukon Legislations, including but not limited to the Quartz Mining Act, Waters Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act, BSc in Environmental Science, or related (biology, chemistry, geology) Must be able to spend time at remote camps for extended periods as needed.   

4) FACILITIES MAINTENANCE LEAD: 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off rotation, oversee and carry out all aspects of maintenance and management of a remote camp. This includes but not limited to: small plumbing repairs, heater repairs, kitchen appliance maintenance and repairs, roof maintenance and leak repairs, small construction and construction maintenance. Oversees the work of one or more Facilities Maintenance Assistants, minimum of 5 year's experience working with camp maintenance or similar role, Journeyman level trades certification preferred but lesser qualified applicants will be considered at a lower wage. Must have Grade 12 completion. 

5) FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT: 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off rotation, assist to carry out all aspects of maintenance under the supervision or the Facilities Maintenance Lead in a remote camp.  This includes but not limited to : small plumbing repairs, heater repairs, kitchen appliance maintenance and repairs, roof maintenance and leak repairs, small construction and construction maintenance and camp clean up duties including snow removal, brushing etc. One plus year's experience working with camp maintenance or similar role,Valid Class 5 Driver's license, WHIMS and First Aid Level 1 preferred. 

6) LOGISTICS COORDINATOR: 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off rotation, coordinates aviation activities and conducts site logistics for camp activities as well as other administrative duties. Minimum of 2 + years related post secondary education preferred or equivalent on the job training, Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role . Must be working towards or attained the Restricted Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate 

7. ENVIRONMENTAL MONITOR: Seasonal position and is expected to run from May through to September but could vary based on operational requirements.Coursework in Environmental Monitoring or Sciences preferred with prior work experience at a mining/exploration operation highly regarded. Able to work in camp setting on a rotational schedule and performs a range of duties at the Coffee Exploration Project including outdoor field work, compliance monitoring, data collection and reporting.NEW

8. ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN: Contract position and is expected to run from April to September but could be extended based on operational requirements. Prior to the site opening up for the season, this position will be based in the Whitehorse office, will perform a range of duties at the Coffee Exploration Project including environmental monitoring, compliance monitoring, and assisting in the development of the environmental management system. This role requires the candidate to maintain high levels of safety and demonstrate environmental awareness by following all government and corporate regulations and policies. MUst have a Degree or Diploma in Sciences, 1-4 years of experience in environmental field work, prior work experience at a mining/exploration operation highly regarded and able to work in camp setting on a rotational basis (potentially 1 week in/ 1 week out). NEW

9.SAFETY COORDINATOR: A five/six-month, field based seasonal work term from April until the end of September, with the possibilities of turning to a fulltime/ permanent position, will promote, coordinate and implement activities to improve and maintain high levels of safety performance across the Coffee Project site. The incumbent acts as a resource for all of the workplace parties and an advocate of the Internal Responsibility System (IRS). Minimum Grade 12, technical diploma preferred, completed, working towards or willing to work towards the Yukon Supervisory Common Core Accreditation, good understanding and working knowledge of the Yukon OH&S Safety Act, WHIMIS, loss control techniques and exploration practices, consent to and pass pre-employment, drug & alcohol screening. This will be a fly-in/fly-out position , the rotational schedule will be two weeks in/two weeks out. NEW

10. EXPLORATION FIELD CREWS: For the 2020 summer season,  require individuals to work remotely in small teams based out of wall-tent camps for extended periods of time. Dutie collect soil samples and assist with geophysics surveys in remote locations, Geology/Earth Sciences students and graduates who bring strong outdoors experience and skills (i.e. Bear Aware, backwoods camping, handheld Garmin GPS navigation)., must be a physically active outdoor enthusiasts who are wilderness savvy (Wilderness First Aid Certification has proven to be a strong asset) , First Aid certified individuals - level C & AED (This is a requirement),  physically fit persons, who can lift and carry 60+ lbs backpacks across mountainous terrain. The ESW proactively provides support to TH students and their families to ensure that learning outcomes are successful, and to generally facilitate the overall educational, personal, social, emotional and spiritual well-being of TH students including those with special needs. Minimum High School Grade 12 (or equivalency) and Diploma/Degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related academic field of study combined with experience working with First Nations students, schools, and communities. An equivalent combination of education, knowledge, skills and experience may be considered.   NEW

4) IN-HOME FAMILY WORKER: Open until filled.    Full-time term ( start date to be determined , end date: March 31, 2021 with possible extension.  Responsible for providing in-home and community support services in various formats to high risk families and citizens, particularly those who are survivors of residential schools and/or have suffered the intergenerational impacts of residential schools.  Grade 12 with a BSW diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology or other related fields; an equivalent combination of education, training, skills and experience in this field may be considered.
