CAMP & MINING OPPORTUNITIES NEAR DAWSON CITY, YT

1)  ROCK TRUCK DRIVERS:  needed ASAP until October, experience is an asset, must have valid driver's license & clean driver's abstract.  (posted May 27)

2b)  ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER:  Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, must also work outside regular hours for sampling events on site, with fieldwork of 10-12 hour days, knowledge of Yukon Legislations, including but not limited to the Quartz Mining Act, Waters Act & Occupational Health and Safety Act, BSc in Environmental Science or related (biology, chemistry, geology).  Must be able to spend time at remote camps for extended periods as needed.  (posted Feb 24)

3a)  EXPLORATION FIELD CREWS:  For the 2020 summer season, requires individuals to work remotely in small teams based out of wall-tents for extended periods of time.  Collecting soil samples & assisting with geophysics surveys in remote locations, Geology/Earth Sciences students & graduates who bring strong outdoor experience & skills (i.e. Bear Aware, backwoods camping, handheld Garmin GPS navigation), must be physically active outdoor enthusiasts who are wilderness savvy (Wilderness First Aid Certification an asset), First Aid certified individuals - level C & AED (required), physically fit, who can lift & carry 60+ lbs backpacks across mountainous terrain.  (posted March 27)

3b)  EXPEDITER:  30 to 40 hours/week, flexible hours for the duration of the summer & fall.  The hours may include some evenings & weekends.  Responsible for the sourcing & purchasing of requested supplies to support mineral exploration projects.  Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  (posted June 17)

3c)  CAMP COOK & OFA ATTENDANT:  remote camp with long rotations 4-5 weeks at a time, possess a valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 certificate & have experience delivering first aid, preparing & planning menus & creating food orders in remote camp settings.  (posted July 2)
